No to the US Aggression and Imperialist Barbarism KESK stands with the Struggle of Peoples for Equality, Freedom, and Independence!

To pursue its imperialist interests, the United States of America launched an attack campaign against Venezuela early this morning. It is another chapter to the US’s longstanding policy of war and intervention in numerous regions around the world by launching a direct military attack and bombing.

These aggressive policies, which have for years created and supported dictatorships, organised coups, and seized the will of the people by force, are now manifesting themselves as an open plunder of Venezuela's oil and energy resources, hidden behind the rhetoric of ‘bringing democracy’ and ‘fighting drugs’.

Wherever imperialist intervention comes from, whichever peoples it targets, it means only death, poverty, forced migration, violence, and oppression for the people. More particularly, women, children, the elderly, and workers are the direct targets of imperialist war policies. People systematically suffer from poverty and insecurity. Imperialist wars are not a solution for the people, but a chain of deepening destruction and disaster.

KESK reaffirms its steadfast opposition to imperialism and pledges to support oppressed peoples everywhere.

We stand firmly with Venezuela’s people, especially our class brothers and sisters.

We say no to war and imperialist aggression.
