KESK Held Its 11th Congress from 18-21 January 2024 in Ankara

With the participation of 500 delegates from all over the country, the KESK Congress discussed various issues related to quality public services for all, the working conditions of public employees, labour rights, peace, and democracy.

In addition to the national delegates, 18 international colleagues from 17 unions and confederations attended the KESK Congress. Dozens of other colleagues sent video messages or solidarity letters to our congress.

As part of the Congress, KESK organised a special session with the international delegation. The session served as a platform to exchange views on challenges that the trade union faces and to talk about priorities that unions pay attention to at the national and international levels. Furthermore, the trade union leaders shared their views on solutions and how the movement and its allies must move.

KESK would like to extend its warmest regards to the international delegation for being with us and sharing their invaluable experiences in the session.

Long live international solidarity!
